This was one of the original designs I did, haven't had this loaded in quite a while. But with the law coming up for vote, we thought it would be better to have the little guy's photos showing rather than the spring and summer scene. This is also my second favorite theme, behind the Christmas one. I remember Windchill sticking his head out of that stall to see what the world was doing and it was so adorable. Pretty much captures his playful, innocent spirit.

It's just perfect Jeff and I love the shades of blue, blue is one of my favorite colors and you see what my Avatar is?

I, too, am really nostalgic and even teary these days. Thank you, Jeff, for the beautiful blue (my very favorite color) with the pix of my sweet Kisses doing "nosies" with her brother WindChill. She was a good big sister to him, and that's how I fell in love with her, when she was in the stall next to his every night when we went to help him up. WindChill knew it was time for his horse buddies to come in, and he would whinny and whinny to them in excitement. The back door of the barn would open, Stacey would be in the aisle, directing the now-teens into their stalls. As soon as we got him up, WindChill would go right to his sisters, Sunday and Kisses, who were on either side of him, to say hi.

At 3:30 this a.m. I sat bolt upright in bed: it hit me that we really WILL have a public hearing in Madison! I knew that on Friday, but in the midst of everything, I didn't have a chance to really think about it. My mind started reeling on it, I knew I had to get up, and I sent off an email to Kathi and Jeff about these coming weeks. We will pass on more info as we get it.

Later as I was doing chores, I thought about exactly what Jeff said: we are going to accomplish one of the Legacy's main goals, changing the laws. We have worked so hard on it, just as we have worked and continue to work hard on the Outreaches. Do you know that WindChlll's Legacy is, to the best of our knowledge, the only group anywhere doing education like this in schools? I wish each of you could help out with at least one: Paula's awesome program keeps getting better and better, and it is so neat to be there. Glad she gets help sometimes with spelling, tho

WindChill's Legacy and all our members are totally amazing. I am so proud to be part of this VERY cool family, and in awe of what we are accomplishing.

Thank you Polly, Kathi and all who worked on the bill. Thank you Paula and everyone involved in the Outreaches, I feel I am right there with you guys Paula describes the day in such detail I feel it, see it in my mind.

Thank you for telling us about Windchill's days and nights, interacting with the other horses, I love to hear these stories.

Now I am a little Misty-eyed.

I second that, Eilene! Thank you to all of you for all you do and have done, in the name of Windchill. That very picture you speak of, Jeff is my wallpaper here on my computer. It has been there since I replaced my old computer last February. I sure love all my grandkids, but I can't bring myself to replace Windchill's beautiful face in that stall. I look at him every time I fire up my computer and it warms my heart every time....

Polly, I would so much love to do an outreach. I am so proud of the Legacy's program. WindChill's Law, how cool is it that?

I know I miss all of Jeff's posts. We need to get the man back on here. He's been real busy at meetings the first part of this week, according to his facebook post.

That ran across my mind, give him a laugh, or maybe not a laugh, turning red, shrinking down in his seat, saying these women I have befriended what have I gone and done.  I'll post it. Where in the World has Jeffy been? Tell him his Herd misses their leader.

You never heard that song Jud. In a million years I would never of thought of this song, I didn't really put my thinking cap on on this one. It's on Jeff's wall, I'm waiting. He will probably 'UNFRIEND ME" AFTER THIS ONE!!  Then I will be begging him to "FRIEND" me again.

Jud, didn't you ever watch Hee Haw? There was a weekly comedy segment where the stars sing this song and then tell a joke. it is usually a star from the show and then whoever the guest star is of the week. ok, so i watched Hee Haw. it was like one of three channels we had a choice of way back then.

Hey Sheila, I watched it too :D It was one of my Dad's favorite shows. I had totally forgotten that song, though. Thanks Darlene, I did start laughing when I heard it. Although, Jeff may never post here again after that

I saw this on Jeff's blog:

Riding lessons

Written by Jeffrey L Tucker on July 17th, 2010

Okay guys, for those that know JoAnn Paul you know how hard she’s worked to become a good rider – working for hours on end with Axel out in the pasture and now spending hours riding him up and down the driveway or out in the pen. I keep telling her she should talk about her experience. Her dedication has been amazing – cold winter days spent out in the pasture, harsh wind blowing – and there’s JoAnn leading Axel around. Rain, snow, winds, sun – it hasn’t mattered. So my hat’s tipped to the cowgirl named JoAnn. I’m going to see if I have some pix to post along with this – email her and tell her you’d love to read about her experience learning and training at the same time!

Jeff
